Henry Fair, the grandfather of founder Jeannette Fuller, was given the name ‘Koodoo’ during his time as a leader of the youth organisation, ‘The Woodcraft Folk’. An educationist, visionary and leader, Henry embodied many of the principles that we value at Koodoo.

When you also consider that the Koodoo (or kudu) is an African antelope known for its agility, speed and intelligence while working within a team – well, it seemed to be the perfect name.
